Bends are bent using a complete set of bending equipment, which can be divided into two processes: cold bending and hot pushing. Regardless of the type of machinery, equipment, and pipelines, most of them use bent pipes, mainly for oil, gas, infusion, engineering and bridge construction, etc.

Usage:

Analysis of the main causes of quality decline in bent pipes and methods for attention:

1. When pure bending occurs, the outer arm wall of the middle layer of the pipe is subjected to tensile stress and 1 under the action of external force distance M, resulting in thinning, while the inner side is subjected to compressive stress. The combined force of N1 and N2 causes a change in the cross-section of the pipe, resulting in thickening. Based on this factor, the main reasons for the decrease in the quality of bent pipes are RX and SX. Therefore, GBJ235-82 has made clear provisions for the RX values and the thinning amount on the outside under various pressure levels, in order to control the values of RX and SX and ensure quality.

2. As mentioned earlier, when bending, the material is subjected to tension on the outer side and compression on the inner side, and the position of the neutral axis is different from the bending method. In the top bending (compression bending) operation, the neutral axis is about one-third away from the outer wall, while in the rotary bending (return bending) operation, the neutral axis is about two-thirds away from the outer wall. Therefore, the use of rotary bending method is beneficial for thin-walled pipeline bending.

3. The accuracy of the bent tire is also one of the factors affecting the quality of the bent pipe. When manufacturing bent tires, in addition to controlling the specifications and dimensions within a certain tolerance range, we also require users to choose the corresponding bent tire based on the bent pipe diameter during use.

4. The bendability and surface corrosion of the pipe itself may also affect the quality of the bent pipe. During on-site construction, operators also need to understand the material, processing performance, and surface corrosion of the processed pipeline to make production judgments.

5. R is now provided. The curve chart of the relationship between bending radius and pipe outer diameter is provided for users to refer to when selecting the relationship between pipe diameter and wall thickness. Reflecting the influence of relative bending radius and relative wall thickness on the quality of bent pipes, according to the acceptance standards for pipeline processing: cold-formed steel pipes are 4D for medium and low pressure, and 5D for high pressure. Therefore, our bending tire design is R=4D (subject to special circumstances), so for the pipe bending machine produced by our factory, the main choice is to choose the relative wall thickness SX. The upper part of the figure is the area without a core shaft, the middle part is the ordinary core shaft area, and the lower part is the special core shaft area. Due to the difficulty in designing and manufacturing special core shafts, and the inconvenience in operation, our factory generally does not supply them. Special circumstances can be agreed upon separately.
