Different working principles

Gas self closing valve:

When the gas self closing valve senses that the flow rate of the connecting pipeline is higher than the set value,or the gas supply pressure of the pipeline is lower or higher than the allowable range of the limited pressure,it will automatically close the valve and cut off the gas source.For example,when there is a gas outage,abnormal pipeline pressure,or hose detachment at home,the gas self closing valve automatically cuts off the gas source to prevent accidents from occurring.

Gas emergency shut-off valve:

The gas emergency shut-off valve should be connected to a combustible gas detector(also known as a"gas leak alarm")through wired or wireless means.When the combustible gas detector detects that the gas concentration in the gas room has reached the preset critical value,it will emit a buzzing sound,and at the same time drive the gas emergency shut-off valve to quickly cut off the gas source,avoiding further gas leakage.

The self closing valve does not require electricity and automatically closes by judging the gas pressure and flow rate.

Gas emergency shut-off valve

The shut-off valve needs to be used in conjunction with a gas safety alarm.Without the drive of the alarm,the shut-off valve cannot work independently to cut off the gas source.

In the national standard"Gas Engineering Project Specification"GB55009-2021,which is officially implemented in 2022,there are the following requirements for indoor safety devices:

6.1.9 Home user pipelines should be equipped with safety devices that can cut off gas supply to the stove when the pipeline pressure is below the limit value or the flow rate connected to the stove pipeline is above the limit value.

6.1.5 When using gas for households in high-rise buildings,the following regulations should be met:

1.Pipeline gas supply should be used;

When the building height is greater than 100m,a gas leakage alarm device should be installed in the gas field,and an emergency automatic cut-off device should be installed at the gas inlet pipe.

Different processing methods

Gas self closing valve

Under normal circumstances,the valve in front of the stove is open,and the self closing valve is in the middle position for normal use of gas.

When the self closing valve is in the adsorption state,it is in undervoltage protection and gas cannot be used.

You need to perform the following actions:

✔Check for overdue payments and gas stoppage;

✔Check if the gas meter battery is charged;

✔Consult with the gas company whether to shut down the gas supply;

✔Check if the hose is damaged;

✔Check if the interfaces at both ends of the stove are detached;

✔Check for gas leaks at home;

Handling method:

After ruling out the above situation,open the valve in front of the stove and manually lift the yellow knob on the outer ring of the self closing valve to turn the red switch to the middle position before using the gas normally.

When the self closing valve is in the top up state,it is in the state of overpressure and overcurrent protection,and gas cannot be used either.

Handling method:

Contact professional personnel from the gas company to adjust the gas pressure.When the pressure reaches the normal range,open the valve in front of the stove,press and twist the self closing valve to the middle position,and then use the gas normally.

Gas emergency shut-off valve

When the valve is cut off and the pipeline leakage fault is eliminated,and manual reset is required,pull the manual reset lever upwards with force,and hear a"click"sound,indicating that the valve is completely opened.
