Tips for using combustible gas detectors and emergency shut-off valves
Part 01 Household Combustible Gas Detector is a detector suitable for detecting combustible gases such as natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, artificial gas,and their incomplete combustion products in household environments. The execution standard is GB15322.2-2019 Combustible Gas Detectors Part 2:Household Combustible Gas Detectors.
(1)Operation guide.
1.Power on self-test:After powering on the detector, its power indicator light, lifespan indicator light, fault indicator light, and alarm indicator light will flash simultaneously, and the detector's buzzer will sound to perform power on detection on the detector's indicator light and buzzer.
2.Preheating function:The preheating time of the detector is about 180 seconds.During the preheating period, the power indicator light stays on,and the other three indicator lights flash in a certain pattern, indicating that the detector is in a preheating state. After the preheating process is completed, only the power indicator light remains on for a long time.
3 Manual/Self check function:When the detector is in normal detection mode, press and hold the button for 2 seconds, and the detector will perform a self check on external devices such as indicator lights and buzzers. The self check process is basically the same as the startup self check.
4 Alarm function:When the gas concentration in the air around the detector exceeds the alarm point concentration, the detector will emit an intermittent and piercing beep, and the red indicator light will flash to remind users to take on-site treatment as soon as possible. When the alarm status lasts for more than 3 seconds, the detector will control the corresponding linkage device. If there is an electromagnetic valve connected to the gas and the electromagnetic valve is in the open state, after an alarm, the electromagnetic valve will be sucked in.

Part.02
Precautions for installation and use of combustible gas detectors
(1)The installation position should be correct.Natural gas is lighter than air,and the leaked gas will float upwards and gather towards the top of the room. The detector should be installed about 0.3 meters from the top of the room.
(2)Regular testing and maintenance are required.During use,it is important to regularly clean and maintain the product to avoid clogging the air inlet with dust or oil.During the maintenance and cleaning process, chemicals such as alcohol, gasoline, and cleaning agents should not be used, otherwise it may cause damage. After the cleaning is completed,a button"test"should be performed.Only after the test is normal can it be reinstalled and continued to use.
Part.04 Electromagnetic Gas Emergency Shutoff Valve
The electromagnetic gas emergency shut-off valve is connected to the gas leakage alarm system to achieve automatic or manual emergency shut-off of the gas source on site. The product execution standard is CJ/T 394-2018 Electromagnetic Gas Emergency Shutoff Valve.
